Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 combines two of the most crucial baby items: the strollers and infant car seats. It makes it easier to get on and off public transportation (and walk up and down the stairs).
Doona's infant car seat and stroller combo is a great option. It's the first integrated travel system that lets you switch from the car seat to the stroller without causing disruption to your baby.
Easy to Use

2 in 1 prams should have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These systems make it easy to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or taking a run. You can also keep up with the changing needs of your child so you can have fun with your family adventures. Our testers are impressed by the ease and speed with which these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they have only one front wheel or a swiveling rear wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are especially easy to move, but even the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pulled easily using just one hand.
Some models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, however. The Doona Combo requires a two step attachment process, and straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps but it could lead to dangerous outcomes.
Certain models are also more difficult to fold and store than others, which makes them less convenient. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and heavy frame. The model also has a small canopy that some test users are disappointed with. On the other hand it is the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is easy to fold using the pull of a lever and a snap of a button. This model is a fantastic choice for parents who want to use their car seat in the other cars, since it is able to be removed from the base.
Easy to Fold
If you're storing your car seat on its own or in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it must be easy to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are sturdy enough to be used on long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, moving effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. We've seen a few combinations that can only be attached or removed using straps, which could seem like an extra step and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a fantastic option due to its sturdy construction and practical features, including a huge storage bin that is accessible from the back or front. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it simple to achieve a secure car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors, pulling the straps tight and then pressing the carrier into the base.
It's also fairly light and compact, making it an excellent option for frequent travellers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our ease-of-use tests. Both have a single wheel that is easy to push with just one hand. Both have a single front wheel which is easy to push (one-handed!). 2 in 1 prams have a movable spinner wheel, ideal for running errands and shopping. The only downside is that they're heavy, so it's difficult to lift them up when you're carrying a child in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the most simple travel systems to assemble. It even comes with a helpful guide. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to put together. However the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps - attaching the lower anchors and using straps that are placed over the bottom portion of the carrier. It's heavy, which means it requires two people to secure the carrier into the base, and then to remove it.
In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together, which is relatively quick when you consider the amount of time is saved by not having to take out all of the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and detached easily on most of these models.
